Walden Park was inspired by the book Walden and its author, the great American writer and naturalist, Henry David Thoreau, whose vision and enduring love of nature and humanity has encouraged the fellowship of both.

Walden Park is a 591-acre neighborhood in South Fulton County, consisting of 806 single-family homes on lots ranging from 1/3 acre to one acre. Developed by The Macauley Companies, Inc, the community includes 200 acres of land devoted to parks and open space. Walden Park will also consist of 13 acres, or 50,000 square feet of office and retail space called the Walden Park Town Market.
